| PROGRAM TYPE: CSR
| START: February 2026
| STATUS: Ended
| TARGET: 200 Plaf School Chairs
| PARTNERSHIP SUMMARY:
Turning Plastic Waste into Opportunities for Learning
In February 2026, Megawide Foundation partnered with The Plastic Flamingo (The Plaf) to fund and donate 200 recycled-plastic school chairs to public schools in the Philippines, helping address the shortage of school furniture while promoting environmental sustainability.
Through this partnership, 100 Plaf School Chairs were donated to Milagrosa West Elementary School in Carmona, Cavite, while another 100 were delivered to Antonio C. Esguerra Memorial National High School in Taytay, Rizal.
More than just classroom furniture, these chairs represent the transformation of plastic waste into something meaningful and lasting. By giving discarded plastic a second life, the initiative helps create better learning environments for students while demonstrating how responsible waste management can contribute to social impact.
Through this collaboration, Megawide Foundation and The Plaf demonstrate how corporate social responsibility can support both education and environmental protection. Together, we are turning plastic waste into purpose and helping build a more sustainable future for the next generation.
